Our Mission

To provide the best quality service known in the industry. Every single client and project are treated as if it were for our own family. Attention to detail, integrity and quality craftsmanship is in our blood and we will not rest until perfection is accomplished.

In the beginning…

It all started with a guy and a dream, to be the absolute best contractor and provide a level of service that the industry was lacking. Kris Riley, a graduate of Mohawk College, started his career in construction at the age of 17. Kris started as a labourer for a small general contracting company where, although overwhelming at first, everyday was a different task and project. With the knowledge he gained from here, Kris went on to custom home framing and with a highly skilled framing crew and boss, he was able to grasp a solid understanding of how a quality home should be built, from the ground up. After several years in the construction industry Kris wanted to try something a little different, a business that sells and services precision equipment to the construction industry.

While being a partner in this business for 9 years, Kris developed a firm understanding between the importance of customer service and the success of a business. But, during those nine years, Kris just couldn’t stay away from home renovations as a “side” business and became well known for building high quality bathrooms and basements. A point came where the “side” business was just as busy as his other business, so Kris had to make one of the toughest decisions of his life; in 2016 he decided to depart from the company he helped build from the ground up to focus on renovating homes full-time, and that is when Kreekside Construction Group Inc. was born.

By Kris’ side through the thick and thin has always been his beloved wife, Tabatha. Known as one of the top hair stylists for the area, Tabatha owned and operated her own hair salon for 8 years. Tabatha always had an interest (and a say) in Kris’ projects. She would be the one that would design the bathrooms, pick the tiles, paint, counters and faucets. She would dream it all up and Kris would build it. It was quite evident Tabatha had a keen eye for detail and a passion for renovations and loved creating the perfect space. But, she was still a full-time hair stylist and business owner. As Kreekside continued to grow, Tabatha found herself involved in the design aspect for several beautiful projects Kreekside was fortunate to be able to work on. Through the client(s) positive feedback of her designs, colour choices and input, in early 2018 Tabatha decided it was time to join her husband Kris and focus on growing their business together. She has since enrolled in the Canadian Design Institute and has been educated in 3D design software so she can better illustrate her designs to her clients.

Kris’ goal has always been able to establish a brand people recognize as quality, honesty, reliability and integrity. Kreekside would not be the company they are today without great staff, every member of the team is skilled in specific areas of expertise, combined they can take on anything.
